3M DWS2500C-CN Filter Cartridge
There is two (2) filter catridges in 3M DWS2500T-CN Under Sink Water Filter is fitted, DWS2500C-CN play the second role of Fine-Filtration to filter the water once before entering to second stage filtration.
1st stage: Pre-Filtration (PFS2500C-CN)
- Reduces down to 3 microns premium pleated Polypropylene menbrane
- Reduce dirt, dust, particles and turbidity
2nd stage: Fine-Filtration (DWS2500C-CN)
- Cartridge combines a patented pharmaceutical-grade two-zone membrane and pre-activated carbon block.
- Reduce lead, mercury, chlorine taste & odor, protozoan cysts and 99.99% of waterborne bacteria down to 0.2 micron (250 times finer than a strand of hair).
NSF/ANSI Standard 42 is established to certify the claims of water filtration systems designed to reduce taste and odor, nominal particulate and chloramine, chemicals that could increase lead level in bloodstream as well as causing respiratory problems, such as asthma.
NSF/ANSI Standard 53 is established to certify the claims of 3M water filtration systems designed to reduce specific health-related contaminants, such as lead, pesticides and cysts, which cause diarrhea, nausea and low grade fever as well as being potentially fatal.
